Hey mums, I just found out I am pregnant, this is my second one. For my first one I did with KKH. But now I am dilemma, should I try TMC? My doctor is very nice, But I heard tmc is very good. What is your opinion mums?

NUH Subsidised/Private Clinic

Hi, am considering going NUH as a subsidised patient and converting to private after 20weeks. Does anyone know if appointments can be scheduled on Saturdays? Due to my husband’s work nature, he won’t be able to take off to accompany me for appointments if they are on weekdays. #1sttimemom #adviceappreciated

Im pretty sure cannot. My gynae is avail on Mon, wed n Fridays only and I'm pretty sure it's the same for the other gynaes too

When can I ask gynae for HL

Hi mummies. I’m currently at 34 weeks and already super tired to keep working. My next appointment with my gynae, I will be at 36 to almost 37 weeks. I’m taking private at KKH. If I ask my gynae for HL, would it be approved?#pregnancy #1sttimemom

Actually, you can inform your gynae already that you are tired from work. I did that too around 34 weeks and I got about 4 weeks of HL from my gynae.

Is it normal for cramps to become lesser or stop?

Hi Mummies! I'm in my 9th week of pregnancy now and my cramps are getting less frequent or sometimes no cramps at all. Is that normal? Just went for a scan and everything is good so far.

Confinement Nanny or Confinement Centres?

Hello! Was just wondering if i could get any advice on this. My EDD is in Dec but one issue we have is that we don't have our own house yet. Both my husband and my family houses do not have space either. However, the cost of a confinement centre is too much. Not sure if we should just forgo on a nanny, rent a place for a month for confinement or just spend the money to go to a confinement centre? If anyone has been in the same situation before, your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Same situation here, I rented a place and preordered confinement meals. My mum is helping out as well, it’ll be good to get an extra pair of (experienced) hands if you decide not to go with a confinement nanny.

Any recommendation for gynae in Thomson?

Utrogestan Side Effects

Hi all, I was prescribed Utrogestan on top of duphaston which I have been taking since I found out I was pregnant. Was told to take utrogestan at night and continue with duphaston in the day till it finishes. I was prescribed both because I previously had a MC. However, taking utrogestan makes me quite uncomfortable. Feel bloated and a little harder to breathe when I take it. Anyone experiences such side effects? Thanks. #1stimemom #advicepls

You need to inform it your doctor. he might change medicine.

high sex drive when pregnant

Lately I've noticed something quite unexpected - my sex drive has skyrocketed! It seems like I can't go a day without feeling incredibly turned on, and it's honestly taking me by surprise. I've heard that some women experience changes in their libido during pregnancy, but I never expected it to be this intense. Is anyone else going through something similar? Is it normal to have such a high sex drive during pregnancy, or should I be concerned about it?

hahaha yes high sex drive all the way till week 39.. sadly my hub isnt interested because he is more concerned about the bb :(
