Is this considered diarrhea?

Hi mommies, my LO is 3 months old and has been pooping quite a lot for the past 2 days. about 5-6 times a day. today the consistency looks like this :( should i bring him to the PD/polyclinic or should i monitor for another day? i have recently removed his mittens so he’s been touching a lot of surfaces n drooling a lot. not sure if it’s related. he has a lot been fussy with his milk drinking :( pls help! #1stimemom

If the poops have been consistent for 5 to 6 times this might be diarrhea perhaps due to milk or stomach flu. Dont hesitate to bring your little one. This is to avoid further nappy rash.

Do you change bottle teats?

Do you change your bottle teats according to the month your baby is? I tried to follow but my baby disliked it. My baby is 5month old and is still only liking the newborn teats aka the 0+ month teats. Is that ok? #advicepls

I don’t follow the month. My 8mo is still on size 3 (3m ). I size up when she takes a long time to finish her milk. Maybe you can try sizing up to size 1 then slowly move up?

My biggest fear is choking

Hi….my daughter is 17 months I'm scared to give her solid foods like chopped fruits and veggies,pasta,bread slice toast,biscuits…now I’m giving semi puree form food…my biggest fear is her choking ! what's somthing I can start her off with?and how can i over come this fear🙁

I think should start to introduce solids already cause it may cause speech delay as they are unable to chew and develop well. Just try to chop into small pieces but allow her to feel the texture and solidness.

Mucus in LO poop

Hi mummies, my LO has been having mucus in his poop today. Is this normal? Previously he had it about 3 weeks back but stopped - PD mentioned could be milk allergy due to my diet but a bit worrying this time lasting quite long. Appreciate any advice thanks! #1stimemom #firstbaby

Low milk supply

This is my second baby and sadly im experiencing this again and it’s so frustrating. All because i was scared when baby cry so much and i wasnt producing any milk yet so i introduce fm and now i can’t keep up. Now my lo is 1month old and taking 120ml every feed. I bf before I give her fm to remove my milk. My pump output is 20ml for both breast combined in one session. I’ve been pumping and sometimes missed the 3hr timing while tending to baby and toddler at same time. Now my lo gives up easily to suck while bf and it makes me sad. I was thinking if I should totally remove formula and bf entirely once and for all & probably just let baby cry/latch for as long as she wants. Is it a good idea? Anyone done this before?

If you are not producing milk, then switch to formula milk for your little one. Meanwhile you can pump whatever left, transfer to bottle to give your little one. Should your little one refuse breast milk, then it is better to get formula. You can also use pacifier when needed only but don't let them depend on it.
