Expressed breastmilk when going out

FTM, in the event we dont intend to bf our baby when going out. 1. how do we prepare expressed milk when going out. 2. How long does expressed bm last in cooler bag with reusable ice packs? 3. If we take our previously chilled bm from fridge and put in cooler bag with ice packs, how long will it last? #firstbaby #advicepls

1. Just defrost or chill any EBM in the fridge. 2,3. Mostly 4-6 hours depending on what brands of insulator bags you’re using. If you’re saying you pumped outside, I usually just leave it in insulator bag regardless of chilled or not if I will be heading home within 3/3.5 hours. Once home, chill or freeze immediately. Or you can just feed baby the freshly expressed milk.

Newborn long sleeve sleepsuit

Hi mummies, FTM here. Are long sleeve sleepsuit important for newborns? In what situation is it always used? Is it only when using aircon? I currently only have 4 pieces of it, 0-3M, 3 pieces 3-6M, will it be enough? As i scared buy too many end up not using. #firsttimemom #advicepls

Drinking using straws

My LO is 1 year and 5 months old. She's entering playgroup soon and still unable to drink using straw. I have tried multiple brands of bottles that have straw input. She can hold and drink her milk bottle on her own but still unable to drink by straw. How do i get her to drink with straw? #advicepls #firsttimedaddy

My kids first learnt how to use straw by me introducing yoghurt pouch.. instantly picked up the skill

Baby tummy binder/barut

FTM here, is tummy binder/barut important for newborn/babies? And until when do they need to wear it ? Whats the purpose of it and is it essential for my baby? #advicepls

You can also use this waist trainer with hook or velcro. So, whichever suits you can use. After all, we want the stretch muscles to shrink and ensuring internally all are okay and give you good posture.
