Stubborn MIL

I am so triggered and fuming mad. Why MILs always very stubborn and will never listen to us. Im staying with my MIL, they have 4 cats. All have their own behaviour. Will pee, poop and even puke on the floor. I am very particular about my 4 months old’s hygiene and health as he falls sick quite easily (esp when he’s attending ifc). She was holding my baby and my baby’s pacifier fall on the floor. Me and my husband told her to not use it and leave it, take a new one. She just wash with tap water and shove it in my baby’s mouth again. So my husband told her again dont use it but she ignore. Wtf is wrong with her ? Just wash with tap water can clean dirt and bacteria meh esp when cats always do business on the floor. AND THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES! Im so effing pissed she will never think shes wrong shes always right. Exactly the reason why i hated her and sometimes i dont even want my baby to go to her.

dark circles under baby eyes

Why baby has dark circles under eyes when he sleep at least 12 hours a day? It is Normal? Makes my heartache. Appreciate your advice tqvm

Post partum hairloss

Hi mummies who went thru or still going thru post partum hairloss, what products works for you and lessen the hairfall? I am 4 months PP i thought i wouldnt go thru it but it has just started😭 at this rate ill go bald anytime soon. Hairfall + oily scalp. I also realised my scalp becoming more oilier than before. And does it stop or lessen after few months ? Want to only know genuine review from mummies.

Yes yes it’ll get better, don’t worry. Mine also started around 4 months pp. Then gradually lessen from 7 months pp onwards. Now at 9.5 months, I start seeing baby hair growing. I use phs hairscience shampoo and hair tonic, quite pricey but worth buying during Shopee sale. I would say it didn’t really help when my hairfall was at its worst, but seems like it helps with hair growth.

Rs with husband salty after having baby

Just wanted to rant, as a first time working mum and still adapting to the changes. Ever since my baby was born, till now 4m, i feel like my rs with husband is mostly on the salty bad side. It’s always us being triggered, arguments, quarrelling and fighting. I always feel like im not being appreciated or loved at all. Like i had a very bad traumatic long labour which ended up in csect, even after all the sacrifices i put myself and my body through, i still dont feel appreciated. My husband rarely hugs me, cuddle or even hold hand. I feel distant. We’re both working office hrs (there are times when he need to ot till night), and when back from work, need to fetch baby from infant care and by the time we’re back home we’re already so tired and out of energy. Even on weekends its very tiring. Due to always being tired and lack of sleep, we’re always triggered over the smallest things. Even when we’re out with just both of us without baby, we would end up fighting. So pls dont recommend date nights itll never work esp with baby and us wanting to stay home due to tiredness I always feel very lonely and sad. I want to be loved and appreciated. And no point bringing it up to my husband cs will end up huge fight. Any mummies also going thru this and does it get better?

Festive house visiting vs baby’s bedtime

Hi mummies, when theres festive season like cny or hari raya, theres definitely house visitings until night. However when you have a baby, that has a routine especially bedtime or night routine, how do you manage it. Hari raya is coming in few months time and I am anxious. by then my baby would be 6months++. For now his bedtime would usually be 7/8+pm and sleep till next morning if no disruption. Would you try to go back by baby’s bedtime or just let baby sleep in your arms/carrier and continue visiting ? My baby sometimes when his sleep gets disrupted or he gets overtired (eg he cant sleep cause very noisy) he’ll cry murder. #FTM

How to determine baby’s milk intake if theres leftover.

Hi mummies i have a very important question about baby’s formula milk and i am confused. Applies only for formula milk. When baby’s intake is 150ml, we pour water 150ml then put the formula powder, itll become like 160/170ml right. If baby end up not finishing certain amount like 40ml, how do i determine the amount he drank? As i am consistently taking down baby’s intake. Is it 150ml - 40ml OR 160/170ml - 40ml? Cause for now i just take it as 150ml - 40ml. I am so confused.

Baby cry during drinking milk

My 2 month 3 week baby always cry during drinking milk in the day time recently. I check his tummy is ok. Not hard. But why does she cry when I giving her milk ? She want to drink but cry .#1stimemom #firstbaby
