Switching of BM to formula

Hi I have been expressing milk for my newborn. He is now in week4 since birth. Wanted to switch the formula milk. Has been feeding him Breastfeed for his first two meals starting of the day. And in the noon I let him drink formula milk. Should I continue throughout the rest of the feeding or can I switch between breast milk?

Do we need to sterilize silicon teethers?

For food grade silicon. Also not sure if it can be placed in UV sterilizer.. Or just wash with baby detergent will do?

I always steam sterilised if it’s ok to do so

Flat head: does it affect anything?

Hello, my 6mo baby has abit of flat head even when I use the flat head prevention pillow 😢 Does it affect anything? Their brain? Face shape? Any mummies whose baby has flat head and it rounds out or it doesn’t look obvious when they grow up? I’m worried and wondering if the helmet therapy is needed but it’s too expensive :(

Đọc thêm

Flat head (positional plagiocephaly) is something a lot of mums worry about, and from what I've seen, many babies do round out quite a bit once they start sitting up, crawling, and spending less time lying in one position. That said, whether helmet therapy is needed really depends on the severity, so it would be worth bringing your baby to the PD to get a proper assessment before making that call. Some cases are mild enough that repositioning exercises and more tummy time are sufficient, while others may genuinely benefit from a helmet, so hearing from the doctor first will help you weigh whether the cost is justified for your child's specific situation. Going to the PD with your concerns will give you a clearer picture rather than worrying without a proper evaluation.
