Baby touching faces

Just ranting!! My baby is at the phase where she likes to touch people’s faces now when she is held close. I get so anxious when people other than my husband and I carry her because she will touch their faces and then proceed to suck her fingers next… I just feel so gross… honestly I want to quickly jump in to clean her hands but that also would seem rude 😭 My husband is chill about it but I just get so irritated. Are all mummies’ hearts like this?!?!

Can normal but gassy baby drink Nan HA?

My baby is 6 weeks old and my bm yield is low so I decided to mix in formula as a top up for night time. He is very gassy and spit milk/vomit almost every meal. Every meal he will want to pass motion and will gek sai till milk come out even from his nose. After drinking and burping, he will still vomit a bit of milk even after resting before lying him down. So far he poops a lot a day and everytime during or after feeding. Didnt see dr for any diagnosis and not sure if I should give him Nan HA as I bought this instead of Nan. TIA

toothpaste for 7mo

what are some recommendations for toothpaste that are safe for babies around 7mo to use? or am i supposed to wait until my LO turns 1yo?

I have been using Dr Brown’s toothpaste for my LO since 4.5m 😊

Soya bean and almond milk

When do you intro soya bean milk or almond milk to baby? Can we mix into their food from 6m onwards?

For babies under 1 year old, both soya and almond milk are generally not recommended as a main drink, they don't have the right nutrition profile to replace breast milk or formula at that stage. That said, using a small amount mixed into solids like porridge from 6 months is usually fine, just keep the portions small and watch for any reaction, especially since soya is a common allergen. If your baby has a cow's milk allergy, do check with your PD first, a friend of mine went through this and the doctor actually flagged that some babies who are allergic to cow's milk can also react to soya, so it's not always a straightforward swap. Better to get proper guidance than to guess on this one.

Baby colic

Hi mommies , my 8 weeks baby seems to everyday wake up from 530 to 7 and becomes very fussy and cranky , refuses to drink milk how he use to. The moment we put him down he out his legs up and gets fussy and takes out gas. Is it due to colic ? Hes been doing this from last 1 week.

Sleeping hours

My 7mo sleeps at max 9 hours at night and wakes up 2/3 times. This means if she sleeps at 8pm, she wakes by 5am and refuses to go back to sleep! Her combined naps in the day is only 3+ hours. Is this normal? Any advice on lengthening her sleeping hours?
