Is it normal for 2 years old still thumbsucking? I'm afraid it affect my kid teeth development. :(

It's definitely a normal occurrence for a two-year-old to be thumb sucking. In fact, babies are sucking their thumbs as early as life in the womb. The problem with thumb sucking is that it is difficult to wean your child off of the habit. Be cautious of this! It won't stunt their development or anything of that nature. My newborn sleeps continuously up to 4 hrs with out any feed, should I wake him up in between for feeds?

Nope do not disrupt him from his sleep. He will naturally wake up and ask for his feed.

My son is a very fussy eater. I'm thinking of putting him in a day care centre but am worried no one there will be able to give him the attention and time for his meals or be able to prepare a variety of dishes like we do at home. Any experience mummies?

in many cases the kids end up eating better when they are in the company of other kids. when my friend put her fussy eater in a day care, she was similarly worried. so she used to send along a bottle of milk as well as some homemade snacks in case the baby didn't eat anything at all. but very soon the toddler was eating because the other kids were eating too. just make sure to check with the staff and see how your baby is doing. if there is too much issue about food, maybe you can send home meals.

Ladies, do you take any immune boosters when it is flu season? What are they?

I usually take Vitamin C supplements (like Redoxon) whenever I feel that I may be coming down with cold/flu. Not sure if it's psychological, but I find that it sometimes help in prevention. Also, if I'm already down with flu/cold, it seemed to aid in recovery. Perhaps it's placebo effect. But since it does no harm to my body and tastes good (I usually opt for the effervescence tablets), I have no qualms taking those. :)

Aside from cow's milk and honey, what are other food items that a child cannot have before turning 1?

I've read that citrus or acidic fruits could cause rashes and tummy upsets due to the acidity.
