My baby doesn't want to sleep and drink milk everytime we're in malls. Why is that?

Babies are very curious! They like to know where are the sounds coming from, looking at things they have never seen before. Whenever I tried to nurse baby, he will always turn and find the sound if there is a loud one then he will be too distracted to carry on. Normally I will hold him up and let him look around for a bit before trying to feed him again. Even though my boy is extremely tired out but he still refused to sleep because he wants to look around. Normally he will be in a carrier so I will put up the hood and he will fall asleep in minutes. Although he will fuss a little, just give them some patting and they will go to sleep.

Below are the things i do to make them drink and even sleep. When it's time to drink milk, go to somewhere quiet, if possible go to baby rooms or corners of the mall to feed. As for naptimes, i will strap baby into a baby carrier, get a light shawl and drape it over. So baby will not be able to see any distraction and tries to sleep. I hope it works for you!

Imagine how it is for babies and young children -- it will look like a whole new world for them and they will be fascinated and agitated all at once due to all the stimulation. Use nursing rooms to feed babies if possible and if you need them to take a nap, go somewhere quieter, possibly outside the bustling mall area where you can lull them to sleep. I've seen mommies partially pull down the shades and rocking their prams gently at cafes, as they coax their babies to nap.

Little ones are normally very curious to new environment and people. Thus, everytime after returning from shopping mall, my kids will dozz off very quickly or cranky easily. How I manage the schedule was, avoid going out during naptime/lunch time. We go out after baby is well fed and well rested and enjoy our trips.
