My baby is 10 months old and he can't sleep through the night yet. He's on formula. How can I make this happen? I need my sleep!

Babies behave differently individually. My child only sleep through the night when she was 15m. I have friends who feed their child slightly more than the usual feed for the last feeding. Perhaps you want to try that? Enlist the help from your husband or family members who are able to feed your baby in the middle of night while you get your sleep.

My toddler is having HFMD and because of this, she has been refusing food and milk as she has ulcers on her tongue and mouth. What can I do?

For children over the age of 1, make sure they drink lots of liquids. If they refuse milk then consider making milk popsicles (breastmilk or formula - depends on which milk you're referring to). These cool pops will offer much needed relief to the pain and help get some nutrients in. If you have always given your child fruit juices such as orange juice, best to stop till your child gets better. Juices with high acidity may irritate the child’s mouth sores. Give soft foods like porridge and cereal, but don’t force your her to eat. At this stage, it’s important to make sure the child stays hydrated.

Hi dear don't apply powder on sweat. It clogs the pores of your kid. Apply after bath. Use genuine and mild powder for your baby. I am using Johnson baby powder for my kids and it's totally fine

Do daycares follow your given schedule of eating, sleeping, feeding?

No. In fact we follow the daycare's routine even its a school closure day. Daycare is unable to follow our routine as there are many other kids around. It's best that the schools has their own routine. So even back at home, the child is able to adapt well to the routine given at school.

Any home remedy for cradle cap?

coconut oil helps tremendously. if it's just mild, I'll let it go off on its own. otherwise olive oil is another good alternative.

Is it normal for 2 years old still thumbsucking? I'm afraid it affect my kid teeth development. :(

It's definitely a normal occurrence for a two-year-old to be thumb sucking. In fact, babies are sucking their thumbs as early as life in the womb. The problem with thumb sucking is that it is difficult to wean your child off of the habit. Be cautious of this! It won't stunt their development or anything of that nature. My newborn sleeps continuously up to 4 hrs with out any feed, should I wake him up in between for feeds?

Nope do not disrupt him from his sleep. He will naturally wake up and ask for his feed.
