Is it okay to leave a sleeping baby at home while you run out for a quick errand nearby?

A big no. Anything could happen in a split second. I remember one time I put a DIY headband on my 2month old LO. she was sleeping soundly when I tried to put it on. Left it on her head to check my laundry when I get back after not more than 10secs the band was already covering her face! she looked cute tho looking like a pirate but it could have been worse...

I gave a pea-size goldilocks cake icing to my 7-m.o baby and I just noticed she went so hyper, shouting out so loud from morning til evening. Is cake icing bad for babies?

Parents who send your baby to infant care , do the teacher shower them when they are in school? Can parents request not for them to be showered in school? Cos I would like to shower my baby at home in the evening by myself

I'll be sending my LO to infant care next month and I keep feeling guilty for not being able to be his main caregiver .. My Lo will be 7 months and he can't crawl on hands and knees yet .. Can Sit unsupported for quite a while (sometimes will Humpty Dumpty) .. I am worried that if he can't walk yet , how will he be cared for in the infant care? Can mommies pls share with me ? TIA !

The first thing to do would be to take the child to the emergency room. Though it is likely that the coin will simply pass through his/her system, there is still a chance that it may get stuck in the esophagus or in the intestines. In such cases, the child would likely display the following symptoms: - The child could drop the saliva continuously from the mouth - Have difficulty in swallowing anything - Vomiting - Experience pain in the neck or chest If the coin gets stuck in the intestine and tears intestinal walls, a variety of symptoms may present, such as: - blood in the stool (could appear dark) - bowel sounds that are not normal - stomach pain - vomiting While waiting for the coin to pass, do not try to make your child vomit, or give you child anything to drink or eat. Hi ALl, my baby is 3 month old. I wnt to jojn my wrk next month, how can I introduce her feeding bottle? If u have any special tips it will be appreciable if u share it with me.

Is baby on breastfeeding? If yes, I strongly encourage using pigeon bottles. Their teats are very soft and is specially designed for breastfeeding to minimise nipple confusion. There was a small drop of blood that I believe came from my left nipple. The breast ultrasound was negative so I never bothered coming back for the result of the mammogram I took last November 2015. Is the result only relevant within a time frame from the date of the procedure?

At what month did you start cleaning your LO's tongue/mouth? We've been EBFing for nearly 6 months and, as recommended, I don't wipe out his tongue at all. Do I have to start as soon as he feeds solids?

I started cleaning from few days old with a cloth
