This is really funny but my son does potty every time I sit down to have lunch or dinner. How many of you mothers have also faced this?

Trying to give u extra dishes to go with the main course I Guess. Mine does hers after food aka Chinese say waste money... Eat already s***.

Can I ask what baby oil you using beside Johnson's baby? I just want to buy one to apply to my baby's dry ears~

You can use Vaseline jelly. They are mild and work really well for dry skin on the more sensitive parts of a baby's body like the back of his ears. My friends usually use this for their babies during the cold harsh winters. You can easily get Vaseline in any pharmacy, try getting the one meant for baby.

Hi all, I've been planning to bring my 18mo boy for a dental check up. But I've got no idea where to bring him.. There's nothing wrong with his teeth, just a normal routine check.. Appreciate if there's recommendations on dental clinic in the north for toddlers.. Thanks!

Amk Polyclinic there got a dental under government. They merely just counted and check the teeth. So don't need go too expensive one. If got Chas card, go to those under Chas card, 1 year can see 2 times for free.

From which month does a baby identify mother's face and voice?

voice is identified immediately from birth onwards. babies see clearly from 2 nd month.

How many of you had a tough time connecting with your newborn?

I wouldn't say a 'tough' time but it felt difficult to be really attached to my newborn. Right after the baby was born, there were so many things to take care of -- breastfeeding round the clock, healing from childbirth, soothing a wailing baby, household chores. Add those crazy hormones on top. Where was the time to feel connected? Plus, it's such a life-changing event! One is never prepared enough! I also missed my old life -- going out at the drop of a hat, staying awake till late, getting up late. It took some months to get adjusted to have another being so dependent on you. As a side note, I think part of it comes from the society and media as well. We have been fed to think that we should be overtly doting mothers. We, as mothers, are expected to feel super-duper mushy love for our little ones. Personally, as my baby started getting more interactive and started recognizing me more and more, that's when I started understanding that hey, I'm the mom!

My LO is 6.5 months old, and up until 6 months, was fully breastfed before I introduced single solid foods. My problem is, how much milk should he continue to drink and how much solids should he take at this point? Right now he's drinking about 200ml of bmilk every 3 hours but doesn't seem very keen on solids. Is that too much?

Milk is still their main source of food. so pls don't cut dw on their milk intake. some kids may take a longer time to liking solid food..

Any recommendations for nasal aspirator, or the pump to suck out the mucus? I'm using the nuk but like not super effective cos my LO nose still stucked after use...

I use Nose Frida. It's good. Use saline spray before that for better effect.

I gave my 6-month old son a banana. The next day he constipated. Did your baby experience this too when eating bananas?

I had the same problem. The pd suggested offering some water (up to 3oz a day) if the baby is on solids like banana puree.

My baby hurt her head really badly as she fell from the bed. She is not crying as of now but what should i do to make sure that she is fine?

watch out for vomiting within the next 24hrs. Any extreme sleepyness or crankyness. If no, all shld be well.
