Mummies wan ask , my girl just have her immunisation today .. Is on both thigh, now she been crying on off .. Is it normal ? Do i have to consult a doc?

Intermittent crying is normal as your girl just went through something unpleasant. Just to highlight, if you baby’s starts having a fever which persist after 24 hours or if he/she is persistently crying, have fits or have inflammation at the injection site, better bring your baby to the doctor for further checks. Otherwise, just offer lots of cuddles and attention to help calm her. Hope she feels better soon!

We bought swim diapers from Huggies at toys r us. There are 12 diapers in a Pack and cost about $16

My baby is 5mo and knows how to flip. The issue now is, she will keep flipping to be on her tummy and neck held high when I coax her to sleep. Any one with the same issue? How do you manage this issue?

l let her flip till she tried (but will keep an eye on her) I flip her back in pat her to sleep..

Would it be okay if I use a cotton to collect my LO's urine sample and squeeze it out to the specimen container? It's really hard to collect urine if the baby's too playful

I'm not sure with that way of collecting urine. You can contact your pedia for that one. But a cup would do, I was able to do it for my baby girl. It's difficult because timing is too important, we don't know when the baby's going to pee.

Is it true that your baby might get an ear infection, if you feed him while sleeping?

Yes, feeding while lying down is associated with ear infection. It allows fluid and germs to travel more easily from the back of the throat to the middle ear. Fluid, formula or milk in the middle ear can act as a culture medium, basically growing the germs that cause ear infections. Also, during sleep the natural rinsing action of saliva diminishes, allowing baby's teeth to be bathed in the sugary milk or formula, leading to decay. However, breastfeeding while lying is not associated with this problem since it has added characteristics that strengthen the baby's immunity.

the mothercare pic that you posted is not napkins. I have the same one. it's very small muslin to clean top and tail. the size about palm size only. for napkin covers can get from those baby shops. got mine at beauty world

Hi parents, please share when did ur LO started TV time and what's the duration like? My LO is going 8 months. We started introducing TV time as early as 4/5 months... I'm not sure if it's appropriate? TIA!

I think the good time for you to start introducing your baby to tv/gadget, when she/he turning 2 years old. I’ve read an article say that when you are too early introduce your child to gadget/tv it can create side effects such as speech delay.
