Diffuser and directly appling essential oil on baby, which one is more efficient or both to be carried out at the same time?

For babies, I prefer using a diffuser. I had reactions to certain kinds of essential oils (clove being one of them). Maybe I didn't dilute them properly but I wouldn't risk it on a young baby. Diffusing one or two drops when baby is old enough sounds safer than applying directly to baby's skin. Just my two cents.

What are baby boxes?

It's an interesting one. A baby box or baby hatch is a place where people (typically mothers) can bring babies, usually newborn, and abandon them anonymously in a safe place to be found and cared for. One reason many babies have been abandoned, especially in the past, was that they were born out of wedlock. Today, baby boxes are more often intended to be used by mothers who are unable to cope with looking after their own child and do not wish to divulge their identity. In some countries, it is not legal for mothers to give birth anonymously in a hospital, and the baby box is the only way they can safely and secretly leave their child to be cared for by others. In India and Pakistan, the purpose of baby boxes is mainly to provide an alternative to female infanticide, which occurs due to socio-economic factors including the high cost of dowries. My baby is 4 months and her tongue is always white. What can I do to clean it?

You can try with warm water and put a little bit of salt and wrap it with a handkerchief. I used to do it when my kids were babies.

If you need to go back to office to pump, best to get an electric pump. I use Medela free style. So far so good. I bought at 699 from baby fair and u can buy from Amazon at around 500 but it doesn't have local warranty

What are the treatments for croup?

Hi, treatment of croup depends on how severe the symptoms are. Most cases are mild and can be managed at home. Here are some home remedies for the treatment for croup: - Although mist or humidified air and exposure to cold air have not been proven effective in treating the symptoms associated with croup, they are still routinely recommended by physicians since they are generally not invasive and have been described anecdotally as helping some children with moderate symptoms. - Consider substituting water or juice for milk products. Frequent sips of clear liquids can loosen mucus and prevent dehydration, which often occurs with croup. - Crying can trigger spasmodic coughing. Attempt to comfort your child to prevent agitation. - Acetaminophen (Children's Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) may be given for fever or sore throat. However, if your child has severe croup, they will need to be admitted to hospital urgently.

hi..my baby is 4mo and recently she kept having blocked nose and we tried to suck out her mucus every day. yesterday...she start to have runny nose..and on off coughing once. i am having sore throat and runny nose and coughing as well. could have passed on the virus to her. i use nosefrida to suck out her mucus and its really quite alot. other than that, shes still sleeping well, feeding well and active. do i need to bring her to a pd or she will self heal? she dont seem uncomfortable..other than the occasional nose block which wakes her up
