How to stop baby (with teeth) from biting during latching???

Haha. For me I tries to tell baby nicely but useless. I scolded him also useless. Then I flick my fingers on his lips. It helps for me lah. Cos of all resorts it's not helping but only when I flick my fingers.

Are fat babies healty babies?

Fat or chubby babies may look super cute, but the sad truth is, all that fat does not mean a baby is necessarily healthy. Of course babies are supposed to have baby fat, but if a baby is overweight, it can cause a delay in various developmental milestones. If a baby is overweight, it can lead to difficulty in crawling and walking. Once the baby fat sticks on, the baby may grow into an obese toddler or child, causing a risk of various health issues. Some illnesses that are associated with being overweight are heart problems and diabetes. Your baby's doctor will be the best judge about your baby's ideal weight. You can ensure your baby does not get extra fat or sugar by avoiding giving any sweet laden drinks or foods and also avoiding giving your baby the breast or bottle each time your baby is upset.

What is GERD?

GERD or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is a digestive disorder where the stomach's contents return back up into the esophagus. After your baby swallows milk, it glides past the back of his throat and goes down a muscular tube, called the esophagus, to his stomach. A ring of muscles connects the esophagus and stomach. It opens to let the milk go into the stomach, and then it closes back up. If that ring, called the lower esophageal sphincter, doesn't tighten again, the milk can come back up. That's reflux. Infants are especially likely to get reflux because their stomachs are small -- about the size of their fists or a golf ball -- so they fill up easily. Also, a valve where their esophagus meets their stomach may not be mature enough yet to work like it should. That usually happens around age 4-5 months. After that, he may stop spitting up. Unlike happy spitters, babies with GERD may have: •Discomfort and pain caused by the reflux •Breathing problems, like gagging, choking, coughing, wheezing, and, worst-case scenario, pneumonia from inhaling their stomach contents into their lungs •Sometimes poor growth, because vomiting keeps them from getting enough nutrients If your baby has any of these symptoms, talk to your pediatrician, who can see if your baby has GERD.

goodness....and I'm going through the same... I know it can get so embarrassing especially when others start staring, but hang in there and don't give in. if u give in once ur baby will know that this is how u can be made to go as per ur baby's wish.stay strong, endure the embarrassment but stick to ur decision.
