How much does it cost to raise a child in Singapore?
For parents with toddler and preschool kids. What's your yardstick for sending them to school when they are unwell? - some parents keep kids home the minute a runny nose or cough develops. They get super upset with other parents who send kids to school when they are sick - some parents use fever as the yardstick and send back to school after 24 hours from when fever subsides, the kid may have a tail cough or drippy nose - some parents simply have not much choice. Either insufficient leave or no other care arrangements. They put their kids in school even with a fever. My tot had a fever and cough. We kept him home for a whole week because he had a cough after the fever subsided. That was a lot of taking time off work both hub and my end and the kid having to readjust back to school after being away for a week. Looking at how often the little fella gets a cough or cold, if I continue with this, we could probably be home half the time. Any thoughts on this first world problem?
Hi all my baby is 7 months 3 weeks old. He has been waking up several times (at least 3-4 times) and sometimes might sit up or be on all fours in the middle of the night. He can't be soothed back to sleep, will cry quite badly and loudly (as if in pain). The only way to soothe him back to sleep is to latch him. Anyone facing the same problem? Is it normal?
Can I use a mosquito repellent in my 7mo baby's room?
Can babywearing cause the wearer to be hunchbacked?
do baby naturally know how to swim?
How to deal with 4 month old sleep regression? Before this sleep regression set in, Bedtime is 8pm and I'll dream feed at 9.30pm. He will wake up again for feed at about 2am and around 6am. He used to be able to fall asleep in his cot by himself (with a night light in the room) or at most, with the use of a pacifier. Ever since about 1 week ago, he'll wake up shortly after putting him to sleep at bedtime and wake up many times throughout the night. Latching him to sleep, co-sleep, sleep nursing, pacifier, turning off the night light all doesn't work. I even tank him up with expressed bm, doesn't work too.
My LO is 3+mo and she is having this white smelly stuff at her neck area. Have been washing it daily but it's coming back every 2-3 days. Any advice on how to solve it? Thank you in advance;)
