Can I check , my friend's LO is the same age as my LO.. Both are 9 months old now. When LO was 6 months old then I start him on solid food, whereas my friend started her LO at 4 months .. She has no restrictions on what kind of food she gives to her LO whereas I'm more prudent in what I give cos I worry certain high allergic food if give too early might do more harm than good.. But she said that I'm overly paranoid .. She said should just give anything .. Am I really too paranoid ??

Every mummy does things differently. I am just as prudent as you. I think it is alright as Long as you are comfortable.

Hi Mummies, my 12 week LO is on mixed feeding since day3 due to my low milk supply. He recently refused to drink Formula, only drinks bm, which doesn't seem to be enough, he does not cry for milk though drinks very little, the poo is abit watery and smelly, and not much weight gain, but previously he's born big and on 90 percentile, there was significtant weight gain during month 2. May I know what to do to make him drink enough?"

do you latch him on or express? if you latch him on, can stimulate more milk for you and there will be enough for him

My 9month LO just went back from development checkup from KKH. Doctor said her heart got a little noise. Need to send to Cardiologist to check. He said not that serious. But I'm very worried. Any parents here experienced this problem before? Will it recovered? She fell down from stroller before. It is because of that??!

Have you told your doctor about the time that she fell? Any sort of information would help him to treat your daughter better!!

Hi wondering if anyone sleep trained their children ? How long did it take and what methods did you all adopt? I am a little afraid child will be insecure after that...

I have no problem with that I let my younger son sleep with his sister in the same room but different bed. They ok for that.

Any LO having the legendary 9 months sleep regression? Pls share!

Mine started at 8 mth. He could be slp walking in the middle of the night. Now 10 Mths n has recovered :)

My LO is 3 weeks old. Since last week, she has been vomiting at least once a day some 30mins to 1 hour after her last feed and in huge amount. Just today, she has vomited thrice. Is it normal for newborns to throw up often, or should I bring her to the PD? She gets hiccup after most feeds too, not sure if it's normal as well.

My LO used to vomit abit of the milk after feeding (probably 15mins later) and it happens at least once a day. She get hiccup every 2-3 feed. We did nothing and now that she's 3+ months, she no longer have all these signs. Hope it helps!

is it okay for LO to suck pacificer after fallen asleep? I tried to pull it out, I can feel that my LO is still sucking on it.. at times, he will wake up after I successfully pull the pacifier out.. most days, I will just let him suck till he himself spit out the pacificer.. which take hours after he had fallen asleep..

Try to let him until a year and then gradually take it away when they fall asleep, baby happy and Mommy happy too!

When can I stop sterilizing my child milk bottles?

You need to sterilise the equipment after cleaning (using boiling, chemicals, or steam) until your baby is at least 6 months old. After this age, cleaning and washing them well should be enough. You may want to keep sterilising until your baby is 12 months old, when she stops drinking formula.

what kind of fish is suitable for 10month old baby? Some article say that white flesh fish such as Flounder, Haddock, Cod, and Sole are safest to introduce. But how about salmon? Will it contain too much oil that baby hard to digest?
