My 2.5 weeks old newborn is waking up every 1.5 to 2 hours after latching for 30 to 45 minutes (alternating breasts when he unlatch himself). However, when He's given medela calma bottle (80 ml), he's able to last 3 to 4 hours. His diapers output are ok. When I pump out At his feeding time (when replace with bottle), I get -about 100ml each side. Wondering is it sign that he's not getting enough from latching and I should change to bottle?

Sometimes baby want to have comfort latch which happens to my baby too. If you notice, they don't suckle throughout the 30-45mins which means they aren't drinking for so long. Majority of the time is dat they are sleeping dat is why we have to disturb them when they drink to ensure they r drinking enough.

Hi all, the durian season is upon us and I have a 6mo bub who just started solids for a week. I'm thinking of offering durian because mama would love some too. When will be a good time to offer durian to LO? Very limited info on durians for babies online, so I thought I should ask my question here. TIA!

I gave twice when baby was 9 months plus, about a wk apart. jus a few bites each time, nvr let lo finish the seed. cos durian too sweet

When my lo sleep I can hear the sound like inside his throat there is pheglm, anyone any idea how to get rid of it ?

It sounds like mucus backflow too. You can consider using a diffiuser in a room to provide some moisture. and let baby sleep slightly elevated

Hi.. it seem that my baby girl is having less milk for the past few days. She was having about 150 ml per feed per 3 hours but last few days, it dropped to 80ml or less per feed despite dragging for longer hours. We have since changed back the teat back to number 1 where we have been using number 2 for 2 weeks.

It's generally alright unless prolonged. Change the teats if needed if u see that yr girl struggling to suck out the milk. No significant weight loss, it's fine

What should I gift my daughter on her first birthday?

Make an investment in her name...start a PPF or MF. A policy or investment in gold is also a good option.

Hi, my LO is 9 months old.. Wanna ask which Sch of thoughts Is correct? One of my frens told me to introduce high allergen food such as seafood, egg white, peanut etc earlier so as to reduce the chances of developing allergy to These food ... While another Fren with another Sch of thoughts says that we should wait to introduce the high allergen food and be more prudent to introducing these high allergen food .. Such as introduce egg white after 1 year old etc ... Which is correct ? Sometimes I wonder did I shortchange my Lo when I see my other frens already feeding a wide varieties of food , including high allergen food .. I mean I don't think I'm in a hurry to feed high allergen food but jus can't help it when I see other mommy feeding so many types of food to their LO and I ask myself if it is right to be more careful in what I feed my LO.

To me, no hard and fast rule though. I let my kids try only when they turn 1. Started from #1 - #4. Didn't wish to change so just remain. It will b easier to handle any allergies when they r older.
