Hi, my baby is now 6 months old... i started baby led weaning recently . he seems not interested at any finger food that i prepared for him. He just looked at it and didn't touch it . sometimes he just grabbed and thrown it (not even put into his mouth) but he prefered toy into his mouth. i even showed him how to eat ( i ate the same thing i prepared to him). i also fed him with cereal , fruits in the morning ( he didn't refuse but he just ate it) . does it mean he prefers spoon feeding ? many thanks in advance and have a great day ahead ?

Oh dear, that is very normal. Babies learn and explore through play. Which is expected that least or no food is consumed. Looking over, babies are learning to grab, the colours, the texture. It may seem like something simple to us, but its definitely an activity filled with fun for baby. Dont be disheartened :)

How do you instill confidence in your girl as she grows up?

I saw a video on Facebook of a father making his 4 yr old stand in front of the mirror each morning and making her repeat positive phrases like..I'm beautiful no matter what anyone says I can do anything if I want to My parents love me I love myself I have a fabulous body I'm intelligent I won't listen to anyone say wrong things about me or my looks or my color or my family... God loves me There were oyher things he said but I could take in these... He made her say this each morning. So I guess repetition is the mother of all learning...instill in ur girl the basic facts tht u and her dad will be there always...tht confidence is enough for a girl

Hi, is it ok baby poop with white line? My bb is 9 mo old now. He eats 140 gr Greek yogurt a day. His poop has white lines . Is it ok? I m thinking yogurt come out from his poop... ?

What I understood from my PD perviously was that Greek yogurt can only be given a small amount to the children below 1 yo as they need lesser iron rich food as compared to milk (which is mostly their staple). I feel that 140 gr might be too much as baby is only 9 mths old and he prob cant digest that much iron supplement.

My 11mths old baby keep falling sick every month, having high fever that will persist 5-7days. Could it be due to teething or is there anything I should be concern of? Thanks for ur precious feedback in advance.

I agreee with the post above that those are some point that you can check on. If its due to teething, then you should be seeing the teeth emerge yar? Also check the general hygiene and if baby is in contact with other children/sibling - they could be bringing the germs back too even if they themselves did not fall sick. Give baby more water and more rest when sick and i would choose to feed fruis or veg with more vitamin like broccoli

My 3mth old is scheduled for 5in1 and rotavirus vaccination on monday. It seems like she is having a little flu, sneezing and occasionally sniffles. She cannot take the vaccination after 12 Oct as told by the nurse.. should i just proceed with the vaccination? TIA

The doctors will be able to advise if she can still take the vaccine. When my boy was sick, the poly say cannot do the vaccine then had to reschedule.

hello! my LO is currently 5months plus, thinking of sending her go IFC because I'm going back to work soon. But she doesn't take bottles and she only latches.. did any mummies send LO to infant care when LO don't take bottles? I'm very worried cause I'm afraid she won't drink anyt.. Need some advices. Thank you.

Oh dear, caring her alone is indeed tough. Else warm up the teat and get someone to put on ur top and try.

Should i wake up my lo who is 2 months plus to feed? Coz sometimes he will sleep thru out the night which like 7 to 8 hours.

Just let your baby sleep. Baby will wake up if he/she needs milk.

Which is better substitute of mothermilk ... Is it cow milk or formula milk ...

i go for formula milk . for my kids. . maybe u can request for sample for ur baby to try it out first..

May I know is it essential to get a 28days lunch and dinner confinement tingkat ?

i just order lunch as home alone with baby. Hubby will tao bao dinner for 2 of us
