Hi mummies... My bub seems to be on a milk strike (fm) for d longest time (since 4 month +) n he is currently 6 month+ ...even if I drag d feeding hours (5 hours ) he will drink fast initially then refuse (usually left 1/2 bott of 120ml)... We hv no choice but to dream feed him every time( tt is d only time he will drink w/o fussing )...only started weaning (rice cereal) few days ago n he is still learning how to feed on tt... I hv check if bub teething or etc tt cause this milk strike but he is not...is this normal?

Try changing brand of milk. Might not like the taste of the current milk you are giving. Have you also tried to change the teat of your bottle from a slow flow to a faster flow? Baby might be frustrated with how slow it takes to finish the milk and gives up half way. Also once baby starts solids atleast he is getting nutrients from other sources of food

Which month u start giving porridge?? My lo is 8 months n i m still giving puree. Is that normal??

If my baby has fever of temp in high 37 for about 3 days, should I bring her back to see PD? Or continue to give Panadol? She went to see the PD four days ago and the temp came down after a day. But went up again yesterday and till not still hovering around high 37 and sometimes 38 she is 10mo

I will bring to pd since the fever did not subside.

Hi mummies, how do you train your little one to sleep through the night?

Switch of the light, turn of the tv, bring her/him to bed and get ready to sleep. Eventually he or she will be sleepy soon.

Hi mummies, My 13 months girl just recover from viral virus..she has no appetite in drinking milk and food. How to increase her likes in food. She wanted to eat but once put into the mouth, she spit out.

Give baby some time to fully recover and this issue that u are stressed with will disappear. In the meantime, just let her eat whatever （the healthy and less heavy kind) she wants - maybe can also try to give the foods that she likes. Eat a smaller amount is ok, don't need to force. At most just drink milk to make up for it later. Most babies a few days of not eating well is ok for them - as long as not dehydrated so still need to take milk and water

My boy is reaching 1 year ...weight all along 75th percentile... But he eats very little solid... Each feeding us between 3-5 teaspoon of porridge... He can finish half a rice cracker and a few bites of apple.. I'm very worried that he is not eating enough for his age. Do you have similar experience and how and when did you overcome ?

Have you tried feeding different texture food like maybe soft rice or pasta? Some children dislike puree and porridge and like to go straight to "adult" food. You can experiment different types of food for him. As he is approaching 1, food source should come mainly from solids, so continue to introduce different variety and texture for him to see what he is more receptive to. My 8 month old dislikes puree, ok with porridge. She likes fish and chicken but dislikes pork. So it's all about experimenting with them to see what they like and not. Just like adults. Good Luck!

My 10 month fall at the changing area at paragon.. The height is definitely high than him.. and he fall face down if i'm not wrong and he seem like he's saving his face from landing the floor.. he had a bit of bruise near his lips.. should i go to kkh? I'm so worried.. I don't know I think of my stroller that fall back then him laying on the changing area.. I know u might think i'm such a stupid mother who never think of my child safety.. but i don't want this to happen either.. i can't forgive myself about what happen.. this is his 4th fall.. the 3rd fall we went to kkh as he fall head 1st and he was seem dizzy.. but we were sent home cause he never vomit or shows any other symtoms.. we wanted to do a head scan but was not allowed to if theres no bump more the 4"...i'm just worried he had any blood clot in his head or any concussion... this 4th fall he seem normal but i'm still worried... what sld i do mummies?? ?

Anyone's LO facing the brunt of the 8-10 month sleep regression? How has it been? My boy's naps are all over the place, even when I put him down for nap at the right timing (tired cues: quiet, spacing out), he's resisting to nap and it's causing him to be trapped in an overtired cycle! Almost 5 weeks! He used to nap well (1-2.5h each) and sleeps independently.

Because he's dropping the last catnap and we needed to extend his wake time! Otherwise, he's rolling too much in bed until he's too wired up to sleep!
