What did u give ur baby for meals besides milk when travelling overseas? Will be overseas with my 9mo for 5 days where supermarkets are easily accessible. Thanks in advance!

Oats are good, easy to make and take a long. I love packing oats and taking them out with me.

Can i steam the fish and mashed and feed my lo?? She is 6months now. Prefer to give fish first.

Which part of pork do you give your lo. How to prepare and serve?

Depending on age. For initially weaning, 6mo and above, i would make pork stock with their porridge. Minced pork or Hind Lean is good enough. If you prefer a less fatty mean for the kids, asked for lean meat, get them to grind it twice. So it will be finer and softer for them to consume. As they get older, 1 year and above, i would include into their actual meals, like minced pork porridge or steamed eggs with minced pork. For seasoning, you can add a little corn flour to allow the pork to be soft after cooking(prolong cooking will make the pork hard and chewy) Mirin also helps to tenderize the pork

Hi anyone's babies caught stomach flu before? My gal seems to have caught it from her cousin. I have brought her to see a PD but he only prescribed probiotics and told me I can continue to give solids. Did the PD give other medicine for stomach flu and what did you feed baby during those few days? My gal only has a slight fever and runny nose which PD said is due to her left ear is bit infected. I keep hearing my gal pass gas and she seems to keep having some liquid bubbling sound in the throat and she tries to swallow it down.

My PD also prescribed probiotics and nothing else when they caught stomach flu. If they have fever, then the usual paracetamol. Probiotics is good for the gut. I guess that's why probiotics is given. Usually biogaia (2x 5 drops a day) or lacteol fort. As for food, usually I just give porridge. Porridge water is suppose to be good for diarrhea. Just make sure your daughter is getting sufficient liquid to avoid dehydration. Speedy recovery.

Hi ladies, may I know does ur confinement lady ask u to by those prepack 28 days herbs from medical stores for them to cook soup for u or no need they will think of what soup to cook ?

No, I did not because my TCM mentioned that my body cannot take it. So have to avoid it.

Do i cook rice, chicken and carrot together after that mashed it. Or can i steam chicken and carrot. After that i cook e rice separately. Later once e rice cooked, i add into e blender n blend together?? How to go about

You can consider steaming the rice and chicken together. This way you would have chicken rice for the little one. Add more water for the rice so it will be softer and mushy for the younger kids. Carrots can be steamed together but it needs to cut chopped up smaller as carrots takes a longer time to cook by steaming. How old is your little one?

Healthy children aren't physically and emotionally ready to start using a potty until they are between 18 months and three years old. Most parents start the training when their children are between two years and three years old

my baby has stopped gaining weight since about 2 months ago. she is now 8 months 3 weeks old and she was 8.5kg first week of sep. and she's still 8.5kg now. should i be concerned? not sure if i'm feeding her adequately. should i visit a pd?

My gal's weight dropped too. She was 9.2kg around 9mo but now at 10 plus months she dropped to 8.9kg. I have given her slightly more solids but not say a lot more and she is very mobile these days. I am concerned too

How do I measure my lo feet to buy shoe online ? Can I use the measuring tape ?

Yes I use measuring tape Coz diff brand diff cutting so go by sizing sometime not that accurate.
