Hello mummies and daddies. I need to share this with you all because my 3 month baby did not poop for almost 6 days. He is currently taking formula milk (karihome) and breastmilk. I've done everything from bicycle kicks to biogaia probitotic to massages. I stumbled across a few tiktok videos from the US and their pediatricians recommended prune, pear or apple juice. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR OWN PEDIATRICIAN BEFORE FEEDING YOUR BABY THINGS OTHER THAN FM OR BM ESPECIALLY WHEN BABY HAS NOT STARTED SOLIDS YET. I however, did not consult because I desperate already. So here is how it went.... Last night before baby night sleep I fed baby his formula mix with prune juice 20ml (i couldn't find prune juice at my super market so I just bought the actual prune fruit, soak it with boiling water and mush it then strain it into his milk bottle) I expected him to poop in the middle of the night but to no avail... The next morning I tried again to mix his formula milk but with 20ml sugar free apple juice instead... LO AND BEHOLD.... 30 mins later HE POOPED!!!!! And so much came out I was so happy. The colour of his poop was dark green brown which is considered normal it was mix with seedy stool because he is also drinking breast milk. No hard stool only soft. I'm so happy and baby feels so relieved!!! Do consult your doctor and give it a try. Remember don't overfeed the prune or apple juice because I fear his organs may not digest it well, I took a risk without consulting but I guess it worked out in the end. Once your baby turns 6 months and starts solids, you can go ham with prune and apple juice to help constipation 😁❤️ hope this helps! #constipatedbaby #constipated #3MonthsBaby

We went for injection today. The doctor commented on how my baby is still not saying words like “mama papa” and waving goodbye or pointing at objects. Our baby just turned 1 and has started walking without assistance. Baby is healthy and active, would smile, clap, make eye contact and raise up hands when we offer to carry. Nothing much. Just feel kinda defeated. Anyone care to share their thoughts or experiences? #FTM #newmom
