Hi Mummies, anyone knows what i can do with my expired frozen breastmilk? I have excess lipase content in my milk, so it smells super fishy. I tried doing a milk bath once, but it really smells. Can i still send it in to make soap bars?

Pump about 40ml in total in the morning and at night now. I am ready to stop already, about 9 months pp. do I still have to continue pumping till I don't get anything out? Or I can stop now totally already?

Is it true that wearing wired bras will have blocked ducts? Isit better to wear non-wired bras during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Yes true. I got masititis while wearing wired bra during breastfeeding.

how do you maintain your milk supply when you fall sick and needs to rest? i had this prob as i felt sick quite often during my ml, affecting my milk supply

Keeping yourself hydrated, drink and replace your electrolytes. Eat in small portions and rest.

I am currently in my last leg of expressing milk. Pump no longer works so i hand express. 2x a day, each time only 80ml. Just nice for 1 feed a day. However, if i drop to 1x a day, i wont have enough for a feed and freshly express milk cannot put in the fridge for more than 2 days unless i freeze it. But dont make sense to freeze so little milk. Anyone has tips on what to do with such amount of milk? Also because i hand express, there are marks on my breast. Very unsightly. Anyone got tips how to get rid of those marks?

I hand express as well. but I don't have any marks. what marks are you referring too?

Hi mummies My baby started school but still trying bottles here. Teachers wanna cut the teat to make the flower faster cus he rejects the newborn and take v long to drink. I'm not keen on that as I'm afraid there will be nipple confusion...how?shud they cut??

you don't need to convince them. you should just tell them how and what you want them to do. good to get a stronger flow test as well.

Hi, my office is at International Plaza, and they don't have a nursing room. The toilets are quite old and not very clean, so I'm hesitant about pumping in the toilets. Anyone has any suggestions?

Pump at your desk. Use a nursing cover to give yourself privacy.
