Husband’s job

So….i was in my third trimester when my husband first changed to a new job. It has been 7 months in the new job (with me returning to my work in a hospital, non-shift)…… Today, he asked me about my thoughts about shift work, and expressed his interest (60-70%) towards applying and trying to train as an air traffic controller, as he is not happy with his current workplace (cited reasons such as hustling, not having mentors)…… Pay cut and shift work aside, I am struggling to know how to support him, as I am once again wondering if he thought about the impact on the family…….. What should I do?

it's normal. u just adapted having a baby and now you find out there's another one on the way! congrats!

My first baby is nearly 8 months old.. I am so sad that my milk supply is still at 60ml from both side.. any recommendation for a good supplement or smth that can boost my milk supply?#Needadvice #plshelp #firsttimemom

similac formula for infant

hi mommies, any recommendations for infant formula? my 6.5month old has been on similac for past few months but only for night feeds. but since i have weaned off, after 6m of BM.. she is full on formula. heard some say that similac is very heaty… and i personally feel that too. any experience are welcomed

my LO is on stage 2 Aptamil. i think it's okay, easy to dissolve, and no constipation

Hi mummy’s. I want to know can 5 month old baby sleep thru the night without any night feeding? Last feed about 11.30pm till next morning 10+am? I am so worried..thanks in advance 😊

infant care or helper

hi mummies! would you guys recommend to put bb at IFC or hire a helper at home? husband and i are in a dilemma cause we have totally no help from our families. and what is the price range for IFC after subsidies? and is the additional subsidies confirmed for SC if we meet the criteria? please help to advise

3 months LO can't stop sucking her mittens.

Should we stop her? Should we remove the mittens, but she scratches herself despite having her nails trimmed

Should remove the mittens. They have discovered their hands so they will be sucking their hands and fingers now. My baby also alot of scratches on her face but no choice. Have to just wait for them to heal.

Soft Swollen bump on my LO's bottom

Hi Mummies, the jab given in the hospital during delivery is still swollen. It is a soft swollen bump as the picture. . She is 1 month 17 days. I don't recall seeing my elder child's inital jab was swollen for so long. Is it any area of concern?

mine LO was swollen as well then got yellow pus came out...its BCG I think tts why there's a swelling?

baby 4 months of sending to infant care

Hi does any mummies has the experience to send their baby to infant care. I am going to send my baby to infant care in April. Another feedbacks on this?

Lots of mums do send their babies to infant care around 4-6 months, so you're definitely not alone. 😊 One thing many parents mention is that the first few weeks can be an adjustment for both baby and parents. It's also quite common for babies to pick up more colds initially as they're exposed to new germs, but this often improves over time. A good infant care centre should keep you updated on feeds, naps, diaper changes, and how baby is settling in. If possible, ask whether they offer a gradual transition period, as some babies find that easier. It can feel emotional at first, but many babies adapt surprisingly well and enjoy the routine and interaction. ❤️
