Flu vaccine in first tri

9 weeks now and was wondering if it’s advisable to take a flu vaccine? Will be traveling next week and thinking to take for preventive measures. Any advise?

It would be better to check with your gynae or a doctor. I had flu vaccine when I was in trimester 2.

Morning sickness

I'm on My 6 week. Second pregnancy, never had this kind of nausea feeling the whole day 😑 can't eat anything. 🤮🤮 What to do?

I read about it somewhere, try 6 small meals instead of 3 meals each day. I hope you feel better soon!

Waves of anxiousness

Tmr is my week 6 scan but I’ve been severely spotting for the past 8 days. Not fresh red, just brown discharge. I suddenly lost all my nauseousness since yst too. I had a chemical pregnancy before so can’t help but to feel anxious! Am I out? 🥹

Worried about baby

Its my first pregnancy. Currently 6w5d on app however, I went for a scan last week when I'm 5w4d, gynae say too small can't see ultrasound and transvagina ultrasound. Ask to visit the hospital with a more detailed scan, was told that AUA is actually 6w2d instead. However, dr say no heartbeat detected. Advice to do blood test to test HCG level. Hcg level is 4k to 9k, not too much of a increase, did another ultrasound, still can't see. Any case that its just too early or it's a sign of miscarriage? No tummy pain, no bleeding. Still have pregnancy symptoms like tender breast, fatigue and high body temperature. Update: went to the gynae 1 week later and we manage to hear the baby's heartbeat ! And dr side shows that I'm 6 week 3 days, Previously was too early to detect the baby and the heartbeat.

6w Extremely worried

Hi, I got my very 1st double lines on pregnancy test kit and went to get referral latter from polyclinic on 28 Feb. When will I hear from KKH? Do KKH give you ultrasound scans and blood test on your first visit? I'm 6w now. Extremely worried because I'm 41yo, first time pregnant. I hardly have any symptoms, except for no period and nauseous on an empty stomach. Should I go for a private scan first? I'm so scared the scan in KKH will tell me there's no heartbeat....

Aww congrats! Yes, they’ll usually do a scan for you on your first visit. If you’re visiting slightly earlier (~before 8 weeks) it might be a transvagina scan. All the best! :)

I am only week 5 pregnant and the nauseous has hit hard. The vomiting feeling comes frequently be it when I am hungry or even after I have eaten. But strangely, I only feel nauseous but have not actually vomitted before.

Spotting alert (help)

I’ve been experiencing spotting since my beta test (every 2 days). Did another blood test last week but nurse says my results are fine and refused to address the spotting case. Told me to wait until week 6 for the scan. The continuous spotting is so torturous, what should I do?

as long as it does not look like fresh blood/period & you dont have very painful cramping and back aches it should be fine :)

Accidentally ate onsen egg

Hello mummies to be. I’m on W7 (first trimester) and i accidentally ate an onsen egg yesterday for dinner. I’m actually feeling slight cramps today 😩 I’m worried something’s happening to baby 😢😢 Have anyone ate onsen egg during first tri and is ok??

slight cramps is fine. Don't think so much and just be more careful of what you eat next time

How soon to have first scan?

How soon shld I have my first scan? 4 weeks? 6 weeks? 8 weeks?
