Are you breastfeeding? Breastfed babies usually poop a lot of times in a day. The colour looks normal to me, same as my baby poop colour 🤔 However, if you’re concerned, do consult a PD!

Contraception after giving birth

Hi mummies! Did your gynae keep talking about contraception options? What are the options you are considering? Im thinking of the implant one. But a bit scared i dont know why. Haha.

I had inplanon and iud before. Implanon was just a pinch on your arm. IUD insertion hurts. Implanon made my hormones crazy. Easily angry, upset, gaining weight, losing hair, irregular period. IUD was very nice to my hormones. I was chill, loved it . Period was really regular. Implanon removal hurts slightly more than a pinch cause after a few years it gets stuck to your flesh, hence a bit harder to remove. IUD removal hurts like a bij. Very very uncomfortable. BUT each person is different, maybe you'll go through differently except for the insert and removal part. It's mostly the same feeling.

hi mummies any recommendations for milk powder brand? currently my baby is 1m+ and she is drinking similac since birth. what should we look out for when choosing milk powder?

Is it normal to still have sore nipples 1mth PP and ok to wear silver cups 24/7?

I’m reaching my post partum 1 month mark and I’m exclusively pumping. However I still feel that my nipples are very sore to be touched by my bra and is wearing my silver cups 24/7. Is it normal to wear silver cups for such a long duration? And normal for nips to still be sore after 1 month mark?

Breast milk storage

FTM, want to ask if anyone encounter freezing the breast milk in the freezer but it does not freeze after 1 day even though the temperature stated is -19 degree Celsius. It is cold and the breast milk is like liquid format changing to semi solid in a way. Quantity is about 100-150 ml per package. Is it still safe for baby c consumption ?

Bm can be kept in the fridge for 2-3 days, so your 1 day old milk will still be safe for consumption. To be safe, you can do a smell and taste test first (taste test is more accurate as the lipase in your bm do affect the smell after milk is fridged/freezed) . If it taste sour, best to discard or you can use as milk bath. For storage, try to lay it flat without stacking or anything near it.

Hi Mummies, Would like to check for those giving Enfamil stage 1, is your LO poo yellowish brown or green?

Hi! My 6 week LO poop is more toward green with some yellow seedy during poonami. Sometime it was like green and play dough texture. When my CN was around I saw my LO's poop being mustard colour. Not sure why now a days it became green again. How about yours? I'm a ftm.

Pls help i am so worry. Is this normal or diarrhea ? My baby poop 4-6 times daily. Sometime got seedy some time like this watery. On mix bf n formula. Baby is 3 weeks old.

Loss of a loved one during pregnancy

I lost my dad when I was 7 months pregnant with my first child. Anyone experienced a loss too? I am due to give birth soon, I've been strong for my mom. But at times i broke down. It has not been a smooth journey. My unborn child is the first grandchild for both side of the family. I hope to connect to anyone who have suffered a loss too.
