Newborn sleeping pattern

My newborn at wk3 start to chabge it's sleeping pattern. She need to be carried to sleep throughout, once put down she will wake up and cry untill she is carried again. Sometime she wont sleep but keep crying. Anyone experience this and any solution?

Mine also.. Cry alot in evening times... At 9pm feed, I change diapers first then make formula milk . I start to dim the room lights when feeding and carry him to a dim, cool, quiet room for him to sleep. He can last 3 hrs... Hope yours wll be better. Take good care of urself

Exclusive pumping mum

I have been EP for a month now, every 3 hourly. But the midnight pumps are really killing me. Im extremely tired as I take care of baby on my own + pumping and cleaning of her stuff. Would my milk supply drop if I stretch or cut down on 1 night pump? Or if I were to stretch my pumps to every 4hourly, will my milk be lesser? Im only a just enough mum pumping arnd 120ml each session.

Hi, I am exclusively pumping to feed my 7 weeks old twins. I too am worried my supply might drop if I stop pumping at night. Currently I am pumping 3 times through the night at 12mm, 3am and 6am. May i know how old is your LO and how much is the milk intake? One of my twins is drinking 90-100ml per feed and the other 60-70ml per feed. My worry is are they drinking too little? I always have to spend at least 30-40mins per pumping session for at least 170ml. Is this normal?

Purplish spot appeared on LO face overnight, help!

Theres this purplish/reddish spot that suddenly appeared on my LO cheeks overnight and its not going away..im getting quite worried.. anyone know what it is or have experience on this? Thanks so much!

Hello, does anyone know what is this red patches around my baby’s eye? Any remedy to cure it? 😭

Not sure what it is. But hopefully, it's just baby acne (which is common for newborns). For baby acne, I just used breastmilk + warm water to wipe my baby's face as a skin care. Usually baby acne goes away on its own but if it really concerns you, mummy you can go check it with your pedia.

Overfeeding or underfeeding newborn? I need help because my baby would not sleep/nap well.

My 3kg, day 21 newborn, already drinks 80ml expressed breastmilk in bottle and may sometimes still be hungry and asking for more. Once, we gave additional up till 120ml per feed and baby projectile vomit when being lied down. Baby is passing motion and urinating well, no diarrhoea or constipation. However, amount of milk seems a lot for a newborn but he is constantly hungry and he will grunt and cry when we try to burp him. Should I visit a paediatrician?

Is Water dispenser safe to make formula milk for newborn

Hi all. FTM here. Would like to ask if those filtered water from water dispenser (for eg living care, hydroflux) is safe enough to make formula milk for newborn? Usually their hot water selection comes with different temperature so husband thought we could straight away use like a warmer temperature (for clearer context, say at 50 degrees and not boiled to 100) to make formula milk. But I am just wondering if the “safest” way should be using only boiled water then cool it down to desired temp? Anybody has real life experience of using the hot water straight from water dispenser and babies turn out fine? 😅

Is it normal to waddle after first week of delivery

How do you walk in the first week of post pregnancy? Is it normal to waddle still and experience edema in legs? Also feel that can't walk too much as the c section wound is still healing.

Yeah it’s normal I’m in 2 weeks postpartum now I’m still waddling like a penguin but I had a vagina birth my wound still hurting a little also
