Bottle Feeding Problems

Hello Mummies, my child is about 2.5months now & recently we have been having trouble giving him bottle feed. He will just put the teat in the mouth or tries to move his head away & sometimes gag when the teat is inside the mouth. Other times he will continue sucking but sometimes a feed takes an hour to finish. Does anyone face the same problem? Should i change to another bottle? Im currently using the Avent PPSU natural. What bottle recommendations is there?

I was using hegen and had problem too. Switch to pigeon soft touch, n was much better.

Breastmilk causing spit ups

Anybody's baby spit up a lot more after feeding breastmilk and spit up less when fed formula milk. Just checking if I am the only one facing this. Baby 1mth 16 days and if I feed her purely breastmilk or feed more than 4 times of breastmilk per day, she will become restless during her sleep, cry a lot and spit up more than 10ml of milk. She doesn't spit up or cry as much when we feed her formula milk. I am not sure if it is because there is something wrong with my breastmilk. Currently feeling like a failure and guilty because family is questioning the quality it my breastmilk. Thinking if I should just feed only formula

for breast milk mommy should try to avoid spicy food.eat more protein and fruit.also make sure not take drink or food can make baby bloated tummy

I am going on a baby moon at 6 months and I am Thinking of colouring my hair as I have tonnes of white hair . Anybody color their hair during pregnancy too?

I am a first-time mom. I am in my 33rd week now. I bought a crib for my baby girl. What are the Crib essentials that I should get? Should I get Bumpers? Thick mattress? Mosquito protector?#pleasehelp #firsttimemom #advicemommies

Personally, I think bumpers can come at a later time, after baby learns to flip and crawl.

After 44 days pospartum ( Thick brown discharge)

Hi mommies as im first time mom & gave birth , is it normal after 44 days pospartum have thick brown discharge ? Im concern😫😭#worriedmomhere

im 2months PP too and i have brown discharge too. Not thick but i have to wear panty liner daily to prevent it from staining my undies. Not sure if its normal ill check with my gynae in 2 days time when i visit him for PP checkup

My baby 21 days already but jaundice still very high, today after blood test liver bilis is 21 . Being referred to kkh . Any mummies have same issues ?

I had the same issue, baby warded for 3 days and 2 nights after that I still went to the kk, until the result was okay, usually will okay after the umbilical cord falls

Bathing and feeding

Hi mummies. My baby is 12 days old. I realise today that he has been waking up every 1. 5-2 hours for his feeds. Each feed he is drinking around 60ml. In the beginning, his feeds were every 3 hours. May I know if he is cluster feeding? I also want to check if I should bath baby everyday? So far we only bathe him twice. And whether to clean baby's tongue w a wet cloth?? Lastly just to share, my baby was bottle fed in the hospital. Because of this, he doesn't want to latch on me. Can anyone share any useful advice on how to reverse this? I wished he tried latching... He always gets impatient and push my breast away

Same issue with you that after bottle feed my baby refused my breast. Lactation consultant actually taught me to use nipple shield to try to let him latch on slowly, it works. And after few times I removed the nipple shield and baby just latch on again naturally.

Hi, ftm here... and just wondering how do we increase our breastmilk. Anyone have any advice on that? My breastmilk has been decreasing since baby born. It went increase for just 2 days and decrease after. I've been eating confinement and lactation food, drinking plenty of water, and even latching baby to suck or pump. Checked with doctor and was given multivitamin to help with lactation. But, my breastmilk just seems to not increasing.

Can try taking domperidone
