Do I sound like a bad mom for saying that I can't wait to go back to work everyday after giving birth? I love my job and it feels good to be in control of my own finances. I grew up as an independent person and I seldom ask for help unless it's really necessary. Both my kids went to ifc when they are around 3 months, after I went back to work but we take care of them on our own once we fetch them back in the evening. They are close to us cos other than their childcare teachers, they only see us daily. Perhaps the only regret that I have is that I didn't prep my son well enough for P1.

Never. I was a stay at home mom for almost 2 years and to be honest, I feel like my brain was full of rust and I can't wait to go back to work and now I did which makes my life socially active and fun. My happy are also happy with me if I am happy.

Would be a lie if I said never. Jealous in the sense that SAHM get to spend more time with their kids. I know it’s a choice but I’ve chosen to work because I personally need the balance, and for myself to be a better mum to my girl.

Why become jealous when you can be both 😉
