Collecting colostrum

Hi, wondering if its advisable to collect colostrum while pregnant? My breast have not produce milk yet but is it even possible to collect? Im 39weeks. Anyone tried and succeed before?

Not all will have colostrum during pregnancy. Do ask your doc if you are clear to do it to avoid early contraction or birth. But i personally feel 39 weeks if fine to stimulate nipple. My colostrum only kick in after birth.
