Ultrasound Scans

Hi, what is the normal number of ultrasound scans during pregnancy? I was asked to go for 2 scans in my first trimester (8+ week and 11+ week). Is that considered too many? How many scans can I expect for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters?

In the 1st trimester, doctor recommended 2weeks once as it’s needed for close monitoring, from 2nd trimester onwards once a month checkup is enough
