Hi, what is the normal number of ultrasound scans during pregnancy? I was asked to go for 2 scans in my first trimester (8+ week and 11+ week). Is that considered too many? How many scans can I expect for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters?
This is normal if ur pregnancy is healthy and does not have any complications. For 2nd trimester it’s monthly scan checkup. Towards the final month of last trimester it will be weekly checkup.
