Pets at home with wife pregnant.

Hi all, need your advice. Usually when my brother goes out of town, he would leave his dog with me.. I agreed to help him early this year for the month of Oct for 02 weeks. Now that my wife is pregnant, should I still say yes? Just concerned about hygiene. (Eg. Fur) Btw, the dog is toilet trained..
