My baby has jaundice and my pd has advised me to stop breastfeeding, saying it's breastmilk jaundice. What is that and do I really have to stop breastfeeding? Isn't breastmilk the best thing for babies?

You can continue to breastfeed to wash out your baby's jaundice. There is no need to turn to formula. https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000995.htm
