Need help!!

Hi mummies! 🤍 I'm currently pregnant and for the past few weeks, my eyes have been feeling really dry and gritty. Sometimes they get so uncomfortable that I just want to keep them closed. 😅 I read that pregnancy hormones can cause dry eyes, but I wanted to ask if any other mums have experienced the same thing. Did your dry eyes get better as your pregnancy went on, or did they stay the same until after you gave birth? Did you end up seeing an optometrist or an eye doctor while you were pregnant, and was it safe? Also, were there any eye drops or simple remedies that helped and were safe to use during pregnancy? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Being pregnant already comes with so many changes, so I'm hoping this is something other mums can relate to. Thank you so much! 🤍

It is completely safe and highly recommended to see an optometrist or ophthalmologist while pregnant if the discomfort is interfering with your day. Just be sure to mention your pregnancy so they can tailor any diagnostic checks accordingly.
