Umm for both my pregnancy Drs insisted babies were big but honestly won't be medically necessary to induce ya. Kept the option open for baby in distress or if intervention was needed suddenly
First pregnancy had to induce after labour was extended with extreme pain so meh had to induce and baby was 3.3kg ( still ok ish for week 39). Lucky no tear but prolapse.
Second baby also another gynae thought was big but at 36 weeks suppose to be 3kg ended up 2.6 quite smol. Also no tear and prolapse again.
I think do discuss if induction is necessary or just for Dr to plan their schedule (pls don't). If ure healthy and no health issues for both mom and baby try to wait for labour naturally ya. idk how true about induction being more painful labour but I had epidural both times (failed too) and the pain was crazy and then epidural was painful for me and then when it failed omg so done with the pains. Then again ask what's the chances of csect as intervention if baby is 'big'. good luck
