My baby's too big??

Hi mummies! I'm 38+2 weeks now, but baby's a bit big, might need to be induced (we'll see what doc suggests on upcoming appointment). Any other mummies delivered big babies too? How was the experience? #askmommies #bantujawab #f1rstimemom #mohonbantujawabbunda #pregnancy #Needadvice

I just gave birth a month ago and was induced on my day of EDD (exactly 40 weeks). My child was estimated to be 3.2-3.5kg with a head size that is 97th percentile. Hence we were induced to try to push for natural delivery. Induction was successful (started at 10am, baby was delivered at 6+pm), and bb was at 3.5kg. Experience wise… 1) Painful (more painful as it gets more intense more quickly) so do opt for epidural or any pain meds once u need. Do not go for it too late 2) For mine, my epidural was not sufficient so I had to top up but it was kinda too late for such a high dose. I actually couldn’t feel anything to push but still manage to push by timing the contractions with the team. 3) Induced labour was scary but still glad for the quick recovery for natural delivery…
