Doing research on preschools!
Is there a difference between sending your child to a MOE kindergarten vs. private kindergarten?
The curiculum will differ. Different schools actually focus on different aspects, some more focused on outdoor learning etc. My girl transited from MOE to private because she suits a smaller teacher children ratio. But I am glad I did this move because her current school teachers, principal and lesson curriculum is so much better in my opinion. Then again, the fees makes a lot of difference so plan finances first before making this decision.
Read moreFrankly - the difference between the mid level private kindergarten (think $800-1500 in fees) and the moe kindergarten is minimal. Only sign up if you have spare money to burn. Otherwise it’s not really worth the price difference. If you go private go for the super elite ones or the specialised ones. They really groom your kids to be world leaders or to excel in a specific skill/language

He used to hate to go to school and skipped an entire year (skipped nursery) because of a bad private school experience during playgroup. Loves school now and asks me why God created Saturday and Sunday because he hates holidays! Haha!
