Did you have a baby shower?

I had a budget baby shower when my baby was about 6 weeks old. I wanted to give my relatives a treat because they did a lot for me when I was pregnant and doted on my daughter a lot from the moment they knew I was pregnant. I held it at the function room of a friend's condominium, catered a buffet (SG50 discount!) and decorated the area with preloved party decoration I purchased off Carousell. I spent less than $800 for 45 guests, the place didn't look shabby at all and everyone was happy. I also ordered cake boxes from Lulu's which came with a customised photo card for my guests to take home.

I didn't want to stress my son out with so many people either. It was a few intimate gatherings, and everyone was happy. Plus, I didn't have to waste so much money on venue, expensive cakes and decorations.
Read moreyes, I did mine when baby was around 8 weeks old, I should have waited till baby was 3 months or 100 days old. I was still bloated during the baby shower and it was such a tiring day.
