child care leave

My baby was born on Aug 2019 and my company's financial year is Jun. Based on mom rules, I can start CCL in 2019 or 2020. Any ideas when should I clear the CCL?

6 days entitlement for 2019 and no carry forward From MOM website *You need to consume your yearly childcare leave entitlement by the end of that year. You cannot carry forward childcare leave meant for one year to the next. https://www.mom.gov.sg/employment-practices/leave/childcare-leave/eligibility-and-entitlement

You have 6 days per year. I save CCL for days I need to bring my LO for vaccinations, or when my LO is sick, or if the person caring for my LO (in my case, husband) is sick.

It is 6 days from birth date of baby, does not follow your company's fiscal year. Likewise, still applies if you switch companies
