Pregnancy rage
Anyone else experience rage and scolding people more?? đ I'm usually really measured but my temperature has been boiling lately since being pregnant.

Oh I totally get it, you're not alone at all! The hormonal shifts during pregnancy really do mess with your mood centres in the brain, so what you're feeling is completely real and not just you being cranky. Your estrogen and progesterone are through the roof right now, and that can make your emotions feel about ten times bigger than usual, which explains why you're snapping at people when you'd normally stay calm. The good news is that knowing it's the hormones helps you manage it a bit better. Some mums find it helpful to give themselves a heads-up beforehand, like telling your partner "Hey, I'm going to be more irritable this month, it's not personal", so people around you aren't taking it as seriously. Others say just stepping away for five minutes when you feel that heat coming helps tons. It's not something that goes away immediately, but having a few coping strategies in your back pocket makes the whole pregnancy feel more manageable. Hang in there, most mums say it gets better postpartum once the hormones settle down!
