Recently my 2.5yo toddler keeps scratching his tummy till it bled. Not anywhere else, just the tummy. It's been 2weeks+ and tried nappy rash cream, ruyi oil and moisturizer, moisturizing bath foam. We think it's the school floors since he likes to lie belly down. But I'm al so worried it may be other reasons. Any mums had experience on this? Any home remedies I can try, esp to stop the scratching? I do not want to go to pd and end up with steroid creams...

Has any mummies experience the newborn baby crawl during "skin-to-skin" contact right after delivery? Can you describe the experience?

Any pregnant mummies with excessive perspiration at the chest area? it is bothering me very much!

I have been out of jobs since I withdrew my #1 from infantcare and only recently went back to work after a tedious time finding an available slot in childcare for my son. However, my job is only a temporary assignment of 3 mths as I am pregnant. I am facing some financial difficulties thus have also switched from private gynae to subsidised one and cut down on many expenses and am aggressively looking for part time or freelance jobs but chances of being hired seem very low. I have a major concern which is the childcare fee. Soon I will not qualify for working mother subsidies. Are there any avenues through which I can apply subsidies or gov help for my son's childcare fees while I give birth and take 1-2 months to recuperate?

I have joined parenting groups or mummys' group chats since 2013, after the birth of my first child. At first all was good, quite some tips and support from fellow mummies and members. Things took a plunge when my finances turned bad upon learning of my second pregnancy. I have been unemployed since first child's inability to adapt to his childcare environment - always falling ill - and it led to my resignation due to lack of family support for alternative caregiving and career suicide from taking too many leaves. Thereafter, I could no longer afford luxuries like traveling, even to Malaysia, or local playdates that require expensive entry to indoor playgrounds. While the other mummies were arranging high tea dates, I made known my financial status and didn't join. As a result, I no longer felt belonged and was often ignored or left out in group conversations. I felt like I was the only mummy asking for government subsidies and going for non private subsidised gynae. I am worried that without the usual support from fellow mummies, I may be depressed after childbirth. I had relied alot on the groups to get advice and solace for my first baby. Are there any parenting groups or useful hotlines which may not discriminate financially challenged mummies like me?
