Baby don’t want to sleep at ifc

Hello mummies, i’ve been sending my baby to ifc since she was 4 months old, and she is 8 months old. She adjusted well, but the only problem is she doesn’t want to sleep there. She will nap 2-3 times a day but only for a 20-30 mins duration. She can stay awake up to 6hours. And she’ll get cranky in the evening because she’s overtired. Any mummies have the same issue? How do you cope with this? It is making me worry as she’s not getting enough rest on daily basis. #pleasehelp #1stimemom

It is common for infants to have difficulty adjusting to new environments and routines, especially when it comes to sleeping, and especially when they are sleeping away from mama. Someone whose scent they have grown to love and know. Here are some tips to help your baby sleep at infant care: 1. Talk to the caregivers at infant care about your baby’s sleep routine and any challenges she may be facing. They may be able to provide additional support and guidance. 2. Create a consistent bedtime routine at infant care and at home. This may include a bath, reading a book, and singing a lullaby. 3. Make sure the sleep environment at infant care is conducive to sleep, with a comfortable crib or bassinet, a dark and quiet room, and a consistent temperature. 4. Offer your baby a comfort object, such as a stuffed animal or blanket, to help her feel more secure and relaxed at infant care. 5. Consider gradually transitioning your baby to a later bedtime at home to help her sleep longer at infant care. If your baby continues to have difficulty sleeping at infant care, it may be helpful to consult with a pediatric sleep specialist for additional support and guidance.

Baby going to infant care soon

Hi mommies, my lo will be going to ifc next month at 4 months old and I’m already feeling sad. Wondering if she’ll be sleeping and taking her milk well. Any mommy can share your experience on sending your lo to ifc? Does your lo becoming less attached to you? Thank you

I had separation anxiety when she was going ifc! Cried a wk before she went 🤭 anyway nope, she isnt less attached to me. I could tell she was enjoying sch from the pics the sch provided 👍🏾

Bcg injection spot

Hi mommies, my LO is coming 12 weeks old, today i noticed that her bcg injection spot is more swollen than usual, and there is a pus as well. Is this normal? Is there any treatment for this? Thank you.

My PD told me to just clean the area with warm water after the pus is out and repeat the process till the spot becomes a scar.

7 weeks milk intake

Hi mommies, my 7 weeks old baby girl recently refuse to drink milk. She used to drink 100ml at 4 weeks old, but now only about 70ml. Is this normal? I’m bottle feeding her breast milk. What is your baby’s intake when they’re 7weeks old? Thank you

6weeks old doesn’t want to drink milk

Hello mommies, my LO is almost 6 weeks old, she drank 100ml per feeding up to last week, this week she doesn’t want to drink as much, we reduce to 80ml and sometimes she didn’t finished it either. She always falls asleep during feeding and got angry and cry if we keep feeding her. Today we fed her as usual but she only managed to drank 40ml and refused the rest. Anyone experienced the same problem and can share any advise? I’m so worried. Anyway she drink expressed breast milk. Thank you

C section wound care

Hi mommies, i had done my c section 2 weeks ago, and my gynae asked me to removed my silicon plaster and start applying the scar cream soon. I’m wondering if you still wear the binder after the cream without anything on top of the wound(except scar cream)? Would the friction from the binder makes the wound open up or infected later on? Please advise. Thank you

hi. wishing you a speedy recovery! I wore those high kind of underwear underneath the binder. thankfully, my wound is ok.

Experience of C sect at mount alvernia

Hi mommies, I am scheduled for C section next week at mount alvernia. And getting excited to meed my baby and yet nervous at the same time. Anyone able to share what were the experience? Lower tummy pain

Hi mommies, i’ve been experiencing a lower tummy pain whenever i am standing or walking today. So far this happens occasionally, but today is all day except for when i am sitting down. I am at 34 weeks now. Is this normal? Anyone experienced this before? Thank you #FTM

You should rest more if you’re experiencing pain while walking. Continue to monitor to make sure pain is not persistant. Best to consult your gynae. Take care!

Own pajamas or hospital gown?
