Recommendation for baby monitor

Hello mummies! I am researching for a baby monitor, ideally that comes with a LED screen & in-phone app. I was actually looking at the Kodak one but unds they have phased out the app. So thinking if any of you got any recommendations of baby monitor cam that comes with both led screen & app? Budget wise ideally below SGD200? Thank you! (:

Superstitious or fact? Painting/Moving/Assembling of furnitures

Hi mummies, I’ve been told by my grp of friends that it is “pantang” for pregnant mummies to be around when your house is doing painting or even moving of furnitures. Wonder if this is true and what will it cause to my baby? Thank you! #advicemommies

Painting wise scientifically I would think its cause of the smell as its definitely not good. I was sitting around when they were using some chemicals and it made me rly uncomfortable. Moving furniture I just excused myself.

Is it normal not to feel baby kicks everyday?

I’m currently at week 21, and felt baby kicks last week (like lil bubbles in my tummy). First few days I could feel the bubbles more intensely. However past 2 days I don’t really feel it or none, just wondering if this is normal? Like if you don’t feel baby kicks daily? #firsttimemom

Can pregnant woman be bridesmaid/attend wedding?

Hi there mummies! My best friend’s wedding is in 2 weeks and I’m also one of her bridesmaid. However, I’ve not shared the news of me being pregnant to her yet as i don’t want to add on to any further stress on her wedding prep. But, I’ve just been told by my partner’s mum that there’s a Chinese saying that pregnant woman can’t attend wedding? Is it true? And what should I do? ):

I have not heard of that . I am Chinese also :) depends if you are into all this but I have not heard of this superstition hehw

NIPT Test Result Duration

Hey mummies, I’m a first time mum and did my NIPT 3 weeks ago and I’m reviewing it with the doc this coming Saturday. For the past 3 weeks I’ve a lot of anxiety and worryness in me because I’m scared to know the outcome but at the same time eager to know the outcome as all I hope for is baby to be healthy & safe! So I wanna ask - if there’s any abnormalities in the test, will the gynae call me way before my appointment (when results have reached the clinic) to share or will it all happen only when I’m up for the review? I’m really just concerned and not sure if this happens to many first-time mums or mums-to-be in general? Thanks! #pleasehelp #advicepls

Hello! Usually by the second week, no news is good news. For unusual results they will usually call you once it is out.
