Covid in newborn

Anyone know wat happens when mommy has covid with a newbor with her??,can she breastfeed? Can carry baby??will baby also get covid?? What happens when new born gets covid?

If you have covid, can continue breastfeeding so that baby can get the antibodies thru breastmilk. If baby is covid free while you are positive, you might want to double mask while breastfeeding her or mask on if you’re the sole caretaker. Make sure you and your area are well sanitised before handling baby. Anyone can contract covid unfortunately, even babies. Newborns will usually need to be admitted if they contract covid. I’m sorry I can only advise this much based on what I heard from covid positive mums.

Hi all! If any of your kids need tuition, do feel free to contact me. I'm a full time tutor, with more than 5yrs of teaching experience. P3-P6 Maths (small grp home tuition, max 4 kids only!) Focus on problem sums which students r weak in! Located at Fajar Road (opposite Zhenghua Primary Sch) 1 to 1 can be arranged too but schedule is very packed for 1 to 1! Miss Lim @ 97899437
