Rash when wearing pads

Heyy! I never rlly encounter this before so I’m getting sussed out and it’s uncomfy. Evrytime I am on my period and wearing pads (usually corn/cotton), I notice I get so many tiny bumps like rashes near my butt area. It’s realllly tiny and the area gets reddish and painful. After my period ends, and some days go by, it stops. Then every period, it’s a cycle again… Did this happen to anyone else & what should I do?

I had this happen to me too, and it's usually either the pad material irritating your skin or moisture buildup down there during your period. What worked for me was switching to pads with better breathability, changing them more frequently, and making sure the area stays as dry as possible between changes, so maybe try that first. But since it comes back every cycle and causes you pain, might be good to bring it up with your gynae or PD just to rule out any sensitivity or infection, especially if it doesn't improve with the pad change.

Is online Chinese tuition suitable for PSLE if my child hates physical tuition?

My child is in P4. His Chinese is acceptable, but he strongly dislikes physical tuition centres. He is very resistant during lessons and barely makes progress. Travelling to tuition also takes up much of our weekend time. Some other parents told me about Sinobus, one‑on‑one online Chinese lessons tailored to the PSLE syllabus. I would like to ask fellow Singapore parents: is online Chinese tuition a better fit for kids who hate offline tuition? What is your real‑life experience?🙏

My boy was exactly the same way about tuition centres, so we switched him to online lessons when he was in P5 and honestly it made a huge difference because he could learn from home without the travel stress and the resistance seemed to drop significantly. Online can work really well if your child responds better to a one-on-one format and a more flexible environment, though you'll still need to make sure he's actually engaged and not just passively sitting through it. Since your son's Chinese is already acceptable, I'd say it's worth trying an online option like what you mentioned, especially since you'll save weekend time and he might be more willing to cooperate. Just pick a tutor or platform that matches his learning style and gives you progress updates, so you know if it's actually helping or if you need to adjust again.

My child has mild ADHD, and I’m wondering if online courses would be helpful for him. Can you recommend any effective online courses?

I’d definitely try something that focuses on short lessons, focus and study skills. Kids with ADHD can get overwhelmed with long classes. Maybe start with a free trial and see how your child responds before paying for anything. ❤️

Is it right for online courses to be more expensive than in-person ones? Is it really necessary to sign up for online courses in all three subjects—Chinese, Math, and English? Although studying from home is convenient, I’m worried it won’t be effective and will just be a waste of time.

My kid tried online course. It's not as expensive as imagined. Just try, then compare which course do you prefer~

My son struggled with problem-solving too, especially the word problems where you need to visualise what's happening. When we looked at tuition, we prioritised finding someone who could break down the question-type patterns rather than just drilling answers, because once he saw the structure, he could apply it to new questions. Some tutors focus heavily on speed drills, others on understanding, and honestly both matter but we felt understanding came first for him. Have you tried working through past papers together to see which question types trip your child up most? Sometimes that narrows down what you really need help with.
