Is it advisable to floss our toddlers daily? From what age should we start flossing them?

I think flossing should only start after milk teeth have gone. At such a young age the gums are still very sensitive.

Try incorporating song while they brush and get them to act out parts of the song : for example placing toothpaste on a toothbrush and brushing for 30 seconds on one side - counting...

I heard flossing is a scam and doesn't do anythjng for dental hygiene, is that true?

I love this question because I often wonder too. I don't particularly floss regularly haha and when I get chided by others because of it, I tell them it's a waste of time because I reckon brushing my teeth thoroughly is enough. But that's just me -- I don't know if anyone else feels the same. Moreover, I had a pretty bad experience with flossing when I was younger and I ended up hurting my gums so it did put me off flossing after that. Whenever I visit the dentist, he doesn't say anything about flossing so I think I'll be okay not flossing regularly. Just brushing thoroughly and going for the stipulated dentist visits ought to be okay. My two cents.

My son over the past few months had a few falls and chipped his front tooth. It also bled. He's about 20mths old. Should we bring him to the dentist or just leave it? He has never been to the dentist before.

if bb is okay and no adverse effects on his gums or general mouth area, its okay. think no need to go to the dentist. even if the tooth is chipped, it is still his baby tooth. it will fall out anyway so the chip is technically nt permanent.

Yung front teeth ng 8 year old ko kakatubo lang pero di pantay nakaangat yung isa. Braces ba agad ang kailangan?

Better wait for all permanent teeth to come out first then consult an orthodontist if your child can already wear braces. I remember my youngest sister, she was 11 na when she had her braces. I guess too early pa pag 8 years old pa lang.
