I have started to use toothbrush to clean my LO'S mouth she just laught when I use to brush her cute teeth any mummy can recommend a GD TOOTHPASTE FOR 15MTHS BABIES????

Western Medicine Or TCM

Im a Muslim and wish to try out tcm for my LO 18 months. Shes been having common cold with phlegm. I've read it's good. Had given her meds but it's takes longer time to heal and I really don't like to depends on meds. Even when I'm sick, I don't usually eat meds (unless severe) Any Muslim mummy try before?

Precautionary measures to safeguard from nCoV-2019

Hello folks , We are entering a very tough situations in the days to come. Can we come up with some points to do to take precaution against the nCoV-2019 ? looking for points specially towards childcare and toddler care

1. Wash your hands with soap and water (do the 7 steps of handwashing) frequently, especially before handling your LO. If you have no access to that, use the hand sanitiser. 2. Avoid bringing your LO to crowded places/confined places. If there is no choice, try to steer clear of people who are sick. If your LO touches lift buttons or any public surfaces, wash their hands with the hand sanitiser immediately. If they’re old enough, remind them not to touch their eyes/nose/mouth before washing their hands. 3. If you have them, you may choose to wear a surgical mask for droplet prevention when you go to public places. If you’re ill, please wear a mask, both in public and at home. If your LO is 2 years old and above, there are commercially available masks for children. Ensuring compliance may be difficult, but try to get them to wear it if possible. 4. If anyone in the family has symptoms of cough, sore throat or fever, see a doctor. 5. If your LO is attending school, check on the school’s policies for protecting the children, and ensure we do our part not to send the LO to school if they are sick (even if it’s just a runny nose/cough).

My 10mth old baby never slept more than 3hours straight since born... either he is hungry or wanna smooth with mummy. I tried all sort of routine but not successfully. Anyone can help advise ?

Daddy can bottle feed during the night. If baby is truly hungry, he will drink. If he just wanted to latch onto mummy, don’t give in to him. You can hold him/rock him/pat him and put him back to sleep. After a while, if he sees that he’s not going to get to latch onto mummy at night, he’ll sleep longer. The process is faster if mummy doesn’t get involved at all.

Recently LO 18months has been putting his finger or anytink hard (remote, phone) in her mouth, particularly near the front tooth area. Is it normal? Or maybe it's gummy toothache pain (like headaches). She still coughing with phlegm still, and just recovers from fever. FYI her teeth is almost full. Any mummies experience this...

Yes mummy same issue here ... my cutie has hit 15mths n watever she sees the next moment inside her mouth & also she put her fingers inside her mouth n then MAKE THE VOMIT KINDA NOISE ... phewww daily it is hard to control her but does ur LO use to pacifier ????

My lo hving fever. She refused to drink milk. How?? See PD, gave meds. Water, juices abit here n there she drink. Milk she dont want. I m so stressed up

childcare deposit

Hi all. I'll be registering my child to a childcare once she hit 18 months. However I'm confused by the deposit because when I was reading theres class A or B under Singaporean which I'm not sure which one I fall under. Can the deposit be paid via CDA?

How to make baby nap during daytime ?

Hi my baby now is 2 and a half month old. Since confinement period ended she’s not been able to sleep during daytime at all. At the same time she’s been crying a lot, and drink habit also not able to fix as I can’t tell if she’s hungry or sleepy or both >< recently rocking is able to make her go to sleep, but no matter how long I hold her on hand as long as I put her down on bed she’ll wake up for sure. Otherwise only nap for 5 to 15 mins then wake up crying again. But at night time as long as I rock her and she’s able to start sleeping for sometimes 3 to 4 hours interval. Can I know anyone experiencing the same for your baby ?? And how can I make baby actually nap during daytime ??

Carrying 11kg toddler while pregnant?

Hi there! I’m almost into my third trimester and getting heavy, should I still be carrying my first child? He’s only 14months and weighing almost 11kg. I feel so bad for needing to ignore his cries to be carried as he seems to be having some separation anxiety. Grateful for any advice please!

Yes, for most women, carrying a toddler while pregnant with baby number two is totally fine. Just be careful and don't strain your back in the process.
