My 17 month LO doesn't like to drink milk now. The powdered milk she drank is 100ml 3 times a day and at times doesn't finish all. She only drink what we drink (juices, pokka drinks, ribena). Anythink that is cooling. Can I start giving her normal fridge cold water? It could be the weather that she may be feeling the heat.

How about fresh milk? Try not to give cooling drinks for lo. Will get cough n sick easily. Pokka drinks, sugar intake quite high. Better avoid. Once you keep giving, lo will reject other drinks Eg water or milk

Hi there Can I start givin LO 17months flavoured milk (Dutch lady-strawberry etc) or juices (watermelon, oranges..)? She doesn't like to drink water. Her milk intake is 100-120ml, 3times a day.

My 14 month old is a fussy eater. He loves trying new foods but after two bites refuses to eat. He also refuses to sit still to eat at the table. His grandmother, in a bid to get him to eat well, bribes him to eat with blueberries or biscuits and let’s him play while following up with a spoon of food to eat. I’m concerned that these are bad eating habits, but don’t know how to change these feeding behaviors! Any tips please? Help!

Hi, wanted to seek views on behalf of my friend. Her elder has influenza A and is on tamiflu. As a preventive measure, her younger 1 yo can also take to prevent getting the germs. No fever yet. But she is confused whether to take this preventive measure. Anyone encounter this? Can share your views pl?

Tamiflu should only be taken if the person definitely has the flu virus infection. Please don’t take it as a preventive measure, especially for such a young child

Require suggestions for playgroup

My daughter is 17 months old now. We inrend to join her in some playgroup so she can start interaction with kids of her same age to prep for nursery. when is a good time to put her in playgroup ? what options do I have near ang mo kio ?

Best is start early. At between 18m - 24m Depends what u are looking at? Have you check out the schools yet? Visit the schools for a short tour that you intend to put her in. Check whether the class has slots. If have slots can put between 18-20m. you n partner can decide together

MMR + Chickenpox vaccination side effects

Hi mummies, is diarrhoea normal after these vaccinations? After 6th days of the vaccination, he has high fever and diarrhoea. Thereafter, his fever subsides after 3 days and red spots like rashes appeared. But my boy is still having diarrhoea for 5 days already. Should i bring him to consult doc?

My girl don't like to drink plain water

How old is your girl? Maybe you can try adding in strawberries or some other fruits so at least there's abit of taste in plain water?
