My 33 month old is having eczema on wrist and is scratching alot at night. How can we help?

Eczema on wrist and groin area

Eczema skin requires massive moisturizing. Keep those parts constantly moisturized and it will help bring the itch down. My gal suffers from v bad eczema and doc says skin must be kept constantly moisturized. Was recommended QV lotion to use and have been using ever since. If it gets v bad, u gotta go see the doc for steroids prescription to bring down the inflammation. Go Polyclinic for it cos subsidized for Singaporeans.

Hi mum, I understand it can be really worrying when you suddenly notice a rash and don’t know the cause. Since your baby is only 11 months and this is new, best to bring her to the PD soon so they can check properly and advise you, you’re doing the right thing by spotting it early.

Anything Also Go See PD

We have an almost 2-yo and my hubby is the kind that anything also see doctor. Personally unless high fever and not affecting toddler’s appetite/happiness I feel it’s too much meds for my LO? For example for the past 2 nights LO has disrupted our sleep (3-4 times awake and cried at night - while normally LO can sleep through the night) because of runny nose. And hubby wants to bring to PD again tomorrow. LO just saw another A&E PD at KKH for fever 2 weeks back and was precribed Illadin also, to which we had little success in applying. Should LO still see a PD?

Food recommendations needed!

Hi, I would like to know which food places or restaurants can accommodate to special requests (no salt/ less salt/ less oil) for my 22 month kid so that he can dine with is. #advicepls

Idk if you need halal anot but if no need halal, can go din tai Fung. They have the option for no salt/no msg for fried rice.

First time dad here. My little girl is 28 days old. Any tips on how to treat diaper rash better? Currently taking all the necessary measures example, dry patting the bum before applying desitin extreme, followed by cavilon spray, but somehow the rash just keeps coming back.

i think better to use warm water to wash if she poop and dry properly dont use wipes or anything first until it gets better.

Hi mum, I really feel you on this, seeing your little one scratching so much is really worrying especially when you can’t figure out the cause. Some mums have tried gentle options like Bzu Bzu, Mustela or Cetaphil baby shampoo for sensitive scalps, but do make sure to rinse properly and see what suits your child best.

My girl passport was done when she was almost 1 years old, now she is 3 years old and I am planning to bring her overseas. Is it necessary to change a new passport or has any mummy managed to update the photo of your baby passport?

If I’m not wrong, should be valid till expiry or after 5 years old. Can call up ICA to confirm.
