I have recently started my daughter (3.5months old) on Glenn doman flashcards. it is a newborn set. I am thinking if I should carry on with Glenn doman program or try other programs like shichida?

My baby is two months and we have started the Glenn doman set too. I don't plan to change and most of my friends saw results after 1 year of deligent use daily

I have always believing in co sleeping up to ages 2 plus. Thereafter, I have manage to let my older kids transit to their own room. But now it's my #3 turn as he is turning 3. And it's a tall order to get him to sleep in his own room. I am at my wit's end. I even tried using his older siblings but to no avail.

If I want to put my lo to toddler class. Do I have to register now from now? Lo is 2 months old.

With how concerned parents are in enriching their children's lives these days, best to start everything early. I thought primary school registrations were competitive but there is a burgeoning trend of competitive spots for pre schools and kindergartens too. I heard the waiting lists for these schools can be pretty long. As such, if you have any particular school you're eyeing, best to call and enquire if you can book a spot for your child wayyyy in advance.

Hi mummies, any of your children had gone through the surgery for squint eye. Can share with me some information please, thanks

I had a slight squint when I was a child and I didn't go for surgery. Since it was very mild, my parents opted for the eye patch method. I wore the eye patch whenever I was at home to train my right eye. It worked well and you can't tell that my right eye is slightly off centre unless you're staring really intently at it. In my teens, I started wearing contact lenses and this has proven to help as well.

My daughter keeps falling sick recently. could be due to the weather change, but I dont know what I can do. High fever on and off, vomiting, diarrhea etc. Brought her to the hospital, doctor says it could be stomach flu. My heart aches seeing her so restless and not her usual bubbly self. And the fact that my newborn is still in the hospital due to jaundice makes me feel even worse. I need some advice ):

please visit a doc... don't give self medication..also make him take more fluid in order to keep her hyderated

I think my 3yo daughter is cute and chubby. I'm not sure if we overfed her. How much per meal is really enough?

Unlike infants or toddlers, 3-year olds stomachs' are smaller and they have lower energy needs relative to their size. They can get full on a small amount of food so look out for when they are full or not. That being said, they can overeat easily so portion control when you have to (sugary, fatty foods). An active three year old needs about 1000 to 1400 calories.

HI good evening, may I ask you something about school, I'm PR, my baby long term visa, she's 15months old, which age she eligible to your school, how much school fees, how many hours, can have subsidy, Where is your school location. Please advise me, thanks

Just to add on, if I'm not mistaken, you may need to apply for Student Pass for your child to be enrolled in a kindergaerten/childcare centre registered with MSF. http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=321#otherinfo Applications should be submitted at least 2 months (but not more than 6 months) from the course commencement date. Processing time would take around 2 weeks (according to the website). There is a processing fee of $30 for each application (regardless of outcome) and a $60 issuance fee for successful applicants. Do have a read at the website for more information.

Does anyone have feedback on Sambucol? US version vs UK version?

I've been giving my children sambucol to boost their immune system when they started going to childcare because they get sick every month. I've seen improvement in them. Most importantly, they like the taste of sambucol and it's not a chore to feed them. Sambucol UK version for 1 year old and above US version for 2 years old and above (slightly sweeter)
